The Perfect Pocket Monster Tales: Z-A Mega Evolution According to Your Astrological Sign
The comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited immense excitement across the fandom. Starting with the gradual unveiling of fresh additions ahead of the title's release, to players forming strong opinions on the entire roster of new Megas, there's plenty for enthusiasts to look forward to.
Given many of the Super Forms showcasing unique designs that emphasize their traits, one idea came to mind: How can link this with zodiac signs? This list is based on a mix of vibes, sign stereotypes, and personal experience.
Aries – Mega Camerupt
To be truthful, Houndoom was nearly chosen for this fire sign, as both are the Mega Pokémon and zodiac symbol that inspire the greatest apprehension. But, a Super Houndoom appears as constantly furious, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, renowned for being fun, cheerful, and impulsive. That's why the Ram much more similar to Mega Camerupt, which solely erupts when provoked. Stay on the good side of both and enjoy a strong ally; if you cross them, prepare to face the consequences.
Taurus – Mega Heracross
Similar to a devoted Taurus, the reliable Heracross species, whether in its standard and Mega form, has assisted many trainers in Legends: Z-A. Though trustworthy, each the creature and a Bull are still Fighting types, and – be it their companion or a strong opinion – will stand up for their position unwaveringly. The thing about Super Heracross that reminds me most of my Bull-sign companions, though, is its unabashed love of snacks. Many previous official descriptions note their craving for tasty sap and how it uses its horn to hoard it all, which is true Bull-sign vibe.
The Twins – Super Medicham
Look at this absolute royalty. It's impossible to tell me this creature is not the soul of any gathering, offering an endless stream of gossip to anyone who wants to listen. Much like an enrapturing, gregarious Gemini, it's incredibly simple to envision Super Medicham mesmerizing an entire open area with their tales. This Pokémon's Pokédex entry also mentions its capacity to foresee an opponent's future actions, which sounds very like a socially-savvy Twins.
Cancer – Super Manectric
Cancer is commonly regarded as the most emotional sign of the astrological wheel, a passionate symbol famous for often becoming absorbed in their feelings. According to the Pokédex, Super Evolution fills the creature with a “huge quantity of electricity, but it's too much for this Pokémon to fully manage,” which seems a lot like a typical Cancer emotional outburst. This Pokémon is also known for its capability to make a thundercloud over its own head – and if there’s one thing a Crab is going to do, it’s rain on their good time.
The Lion – Mega Starmie
Well, did you think I was going to select Pyroar for the king of the stars? Aside from the reality that it would be much too on the nose, The Lion is clearly Mega Starmie, the diva whose legs just became an internet sensation for being too glamorous (or horrifying, based on your preference). Players couldn’t look away from the violet starfish, and that’s exactly the identical energy a Leo offers to the table. Starmie is also said to be transmitting signals from its red core out into the cosmos, and it’s typical of a Leo to be putting on a performance, even if for extraterrestrials.
Virgo – Super Victreebel
The always-ready and perpetually-anxious Maiden is perfectly represented in Super Victreebel, the Mega with constant digestive issues. The zodiac symbol known for being charmingly judgmental is clearly mirrored throughout this Pokémon’s whole lineage, from a perpetually shocked expression like a Maiden when you inform them you lack a 401(k), to its inverted face that’s similar to the emoji a Virgo sends to the group chat when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of creating a plan.
The Scales – Super Audino
Look at this gentle, empathetic creature, who uses the sensors on its ears to detect how others are feeling by their heartbeat. Always empathetic – sometimes to a fault – and striving to maintain the harmony, there are numerous Libras who would likely appreciate Super Audino's skills. However, to be frank, it would likely just cause them to worry more about others.
The Scorpion – Super Banette
This Ghost-type is a Pokémon with a unexpectedly tragic origin: Abandoned as a doll, it became sentient through pure resentment and vowed revenge on its previous caretaker. According to the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That seems exactly like several conversations I’ve had with my scary Scorpion acquaintances. A Scorpion loves karma and comeuppance, making them the perfect pair with Mega Banette.
The Archer – Mega Hawlucha
Both Super Hawlucha and Archers are always staging a show. As a Archer myself, the amount of occasions I’ve called myself some variation of a “playful small jester” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even notes how it “flexes to display its strength.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius counterpart I can think of.
The Goat – Mega Absol
Were you aware that a Super Absol has the power to predict calamities ahead of time? That gives the identical vibe as a Goat, who often always believe they’re correct. The thing is, much like a visionary Super Absol, they often are. It’s also the very initial Super Form that trainers meet in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Goat to join the beginning of the Mega trend.
Aquarius – Mega Chandelure
Aloof element Water Bearer is arguably the non-flame placement that is closest to a flame symbol – its counterpart is Leo, and there are countless memes about the Archer and Water Bearer being unpredictable accomplices. Mega Chandelure’s dual Ghost/Fire category fits seamlessly with this, and the Super Form's general intimidating aura is also very Water Bearer. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Mega’s Pokédex entry says it “draws in negative energy and transforms it into power.” If that doesn’t perfectly {encaps
